Greenslopes Private Hospital was the first hospital in Queensland to perform a robotically-assisted radical prostatectomy using the
da Vinci® robotic system in December 2008. Since then we have continued to grow this service top become one of the busiest sites in Australia. Through the establishment of the Queensland Robotic Centre, Greenslopes has expanded to other specialties and procedures in urology, gynaecology, general surgery and head and neck surgery.
As a major tertiary referral centre with some of Queensland’s finest surgeons on campus, Greenslopes is able to offer patients access to very complex surgical procedures, some of which can now be performed robotically.
